Look out! Coz here IT comes... This is IT!
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is all around us. Our lives have changed as a result of the shift from analog to digital, from using our phones to check our emails to starting Zoom calls and trading investments on our laptops. We are living the digital age and we can only go forward. It is evident that the world is somewhat dependent on IT and IT is also dependent on its support and end-users. Social media is the most widely used IT infrastructure because it serves as a platform for interpersonal communication. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn, which I also use, have emerged as significant tools for connecting millions and billions of people.
♫ IT's my Life ♫
I use a
smartphone, laptop, and PC like any other regular person in this digital world.
Practically speaking, IT's existence has helped me manage both my personal and
professional lives effectively. Let's just say that my perception of IT has
changed over time. Nowadays, you will find it difficult to keep up in
society if you don't own or have easy access to technology.
πOn leisure – I can stay updated on trends while scrolling through Instagram, Tiktok
and Facebook. Binge watching series and movies at the comfort of our home is also one of the best gifts IT has given to us, entertainment seeking
mortals.
π₯On relationships – with IT you’ll never miss out on family occasions and events with
friends and colleagues. We can stay connected with our loved ones with just one
click away!
π΄On career – changes in the tech industry have helped organizations (also in my current work) become efficient with automated processes, and sophisticated programs and systems making the lives of employees easier.
π«On education – IT makes education available to everyone, whenever and wherever. (I am no exception to that). IT related tools make our student-life bearable.
Utilizing technology enables us to accomplish more, more quickly, and easier. There is no denying that IT improves society and eases our daily lives.
Yes, IT does! π
